Raleigh, NC - We, the undersigned North Carolina organizations, support the
principle that all qualified students have access to education at NC's
community colleges. We believe that the education of our youth is essential
to the improvement of the quality of life for all North Carolinians.
Here are the hot issues that we need to focus on in this legislative session. Please include any contact info, petition links and important dates that you may know with each issue as a comment on this thread.
I post this resolution, composed by Peggy Misch, at Pete's request.

The Gross Domestic Product is the indicator we use to determine our country's well being. HA! The sicker we are, the more catatrophies we endure, the longer our work hours and separtion from families, the better the GDP. Why? Do you feel better off? How about your family, friends, neighbors? What indicators would you like to see considered when we assess our health as a nation?
My ideas:(brainstorming)

Link to info on one of the best films on election fraud, "Uncounted," here: http://www.velvetrevolution.us or here: http://www.uncountedthemovie.com/ It all relates - because it is a big part of HOW and WHY we have suffered so much BU**SH**.. I am ordering the DVD to share, and so can you.
I have written up a precinct resolution below to address the suffering of the Iraqi refugees. Representative Waters has a bill introduced that will address this huge and still growing problem. Press release for this bill is here:

Heath Shuler is the one Bush Dog in North Carolina that has signed a letter calling for Telecom Immunity and threatening to vote against a Protect America Act extension if it does not contain Telecom Immunity.
Please click on the Resolutions button to the left to view the PDNC resolutions for precinct meetings. Copy them to your desktop, put your precinct and county name in place of the blanks in the "Therefore Be It Resolved" sections, print them out for the meeting, and move their adoption. The more precincts pass the resolutions, the better chance they will pass at the state convention. Please let us know by posting a comment below how it went in your precinct. You can also suggest other progressive resolutions on this blog.
