CANDIDATE STATEMENTS FOR PDNC OFFICE

The PDNC Nominations Committee, consisting or Matilda Philips, Pete MacDowell, and Delmas Parker, recommends the following slate of candidates for election at the PDNC Convention on Friday, December 5th. Other members are also encouraged to run and to announce their candidacy to the nominations committee as soon as possible.
• President – Heide Kober
• 1st Vice President (Political Action Chair) - Mike Sprague
• 2nd Vice President (Membership Chair) - Pat Seibert
• 3rd Vice President (Outreach Chair) - Isaac Coleman
• 4th Vice President (Policy Chair) - Chris Lizak
• Treasurer - George Six
• Secretary – Sally Goerner
At the convention the board will propose a bylaw amendment to add two more officer positions. The positions and announced candidates for those positions are as follows:
• 5th Vice President (Website and Communications Chair) – Tara Blomquist
• 6th Vice President (Cultural Outreach) – Susan Reed

From the PDNC Bylaws:
A Nominating Committee appointed by the Executive Board shall provide, wherever possible and after a due effort to recruit, at least one candidate for each officer position no less than thirty (30) days before the meeting. Candidates may also be nominated from the floor at an annual meeting provided the candidates are present and agree to serve. All officers will be chosen by ballot.
