PDNC Phone conference 6/16/07

Susan suggested looking at list of members and sending out snail mail to targets, then following up with phone calls. Everyone is being asked to help with this by delivering letters to their friends and soliciting money from them. ( a goal of $1,000 each was mentioned for individual fundraising amount) 

David is working on the budget and has set $50,000 as a fundraising goal 

We are looking for sponsors for the annual meeting in Sept. Delmas will add statements in the letters to attract progressives...focusing on hot button issues. 

If people are not giving to the PAC, then they can give as much as they want. 

Helen responded to Pete's request to pull together fundraising team.  (King and Queen are needed)   

Pete contacted Rev Barber, and he has agreed to do it. 

Susan has been in touch with the Kucinich folks 

Everyone was urged to go to their district conventions and push progressive resolutions especially Same Day Registration.
