Minutes PDNC Phone conference 1/7/08



Present:  Pete, Delmas, Susan Reed , Isaac, Mike Sprague , George Six , Tara, Heidi, Chris, Helen and Matilda.

First order of business:

     
Discussion of SEC Meeting on Jan. 26.  Sallie Leslie has a room for the
PDNC to meet in and the board approved a motion to pay $100 for the use
of the room.   Delmas reports that there is not a lot on the agenda for
Jan. 26 currently and Chris thinks there should be no problem for us to
get our resolutions included in the packet which will be handed out to
SEC members the day of the meeting.

Chris will talk to Jerry
about this.  Pete will send a notice out to the PDNC mailing list
soliciting input about the resolutions before we meet on the 26th.  The
PDNC will meet at 10:00 AM in room 103 of Cole Auditorium in the
Grimsley building on Jan 26.

Website and Blog:

      Pete says he will go over the notes gathered from the Annual Meeting and produce some minutes from for the website.

     
Tara and Mike Oder have been emailing one another about how to set up
the website and blog.  They want to place the Blog on the Main page in
order to keep the site current and produce a sense of movement.

 

Meeting
with Dan Besse on Jan. 12 (this Saturday)  The people  who have said
they would come:  Sally Gruder, Pete, Susan Reed , Jessie Goslen, Susan
Ohler?, Jeff Boyer, Ryan Eller, Ben Holmes, Brandy Hardy, Alison
Guillis, David Crawford, Delmas, David Mills , Chris, Isaac, Mike Oder,
and Heidi. Pete asks us to think about others whom we could invite to
participate.  Mike Sprague wants to invite Malcolm Keaton from Guilford
Young Dems.
